Contessa Mwedzi, Investment Analyst

Contessa has eight years of experience. She focuses on research and analysis in investment-grade and high-yield corporate credits. Contessa obtained her undergraduate degree in International Studies and French at Vassar College and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.  Prior to joining Baird Advisors full-time in 2024, Contessa participated in Baird’s Leadership Development Rotational Program with the team. She previously worked as an Investment Analyst with the International Finance Corporation and as a consultant for start-up corporate advisory firm Qbera Capital. Contessa began her career as an Investment Analyst and Projects Assistant at the International Monetary Fund.
