Joe Hodes, Senior Vice President, Director of Research

Joe has 11 years of investment experience and has been with Baird Equity Asset Management since 2021. He serves as Director of Research for the Specialized Asset Management investment team. In this role, he leads the team’s research efforts, overseeing fundamental analysis, idea generation, and portfolio positioning across sectors. Joe plays a key role in shaping investment strategy and ensuring a structured, consistent approach to security selection. Prior to joining Baird Equity Asset Management, Joe spent three years with Nicholas Funds where he covered the technology and communications services sectors, and two years working in sell-side research at William Blair covering technology companies. Joe received a BS in accounting, finance and business economics from Marquette University and in 2018, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
