Michael Thelen, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Analyst

Michael has 14 years of investment experience and has been with Baird Equity Asset Management since 2013. He is a Portfolio Analyst on the Specialized Asset Management team where he leads the team’s fixed income efforts overseeing bond trading and fixed income implementation across the SAM portfolios. In addition, he supports portfolio construction and analysis, contributing to security evaluation, performance monitoring, and overall portfolio execution. Prior to joining Baird Equity Asset Management, Michael spent a year as an intern in Baird’s Operations department. Michael received a BS in finance and supply chain management from Marquette University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2022.
